Location

Casa Rachael is located close to Albufeira and a regular bus service runs close by and local taxis are inexpensive. The nearest supermarket is less than 1km away and there is a small shop 3 minutes walk from the complex for essentials. The nearest airport is Faro, approximately 30 minutes drive away. The nearest beaches are Castelo and Evaristo (10 minutes walk), both beautiful blue flag sandy beaches and the long sandy Gale Beach is approximately 1.5km away.

There are a variety of restaurants and bars nearby, and Albufeira also has excellent nightlife.

The nearest golf course is Salgados 2.5 km away, and there are 15+ golf courses within a 30 minute drive. There are also horse riding, tennis and watersports facilities nearby, the area is also ideal for peaceful cliff top walks. There are two water parks nearby, Aqualand and Slide and Splash as well as Zoo Marine, a water based theme park which is also home to a variety of sea life.
